The shortage of highly skilled labor is one of the greatest challenges facing the global furnace construction industry. In response to this critical need—and with an eye toward the future—groupLTT officially launched the LIZ Holland Thermal Solutions Academy in February 2026 through its newly renamed Dutch subsidiary.

The Academy stems from the conviction that technical excellence—the foundation of our business model—can only be sustained through the active transfer of knowledge. The training program was designed in-house by our most experienced specialists and focuses on the art and science of refractory masonry, combining rigorous theory with intensive hands-on practice in a simulated environment.

Academy trainees have the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art techniques for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial furnaces, as well as the uncompromising safety standards that characterize groupLTT’s operations.
